The SHINE Story

  Shine was started up by 5 girls who were tired of the selection in the retail industry and wanted something new, unique and fresh for themselves and their closest friends... So they decided to research what was out there and that inspired them to open "Shine Jewellery & Accessories". They got such a great response from their friends and family they decided to make a business out of it and the 5 of them each took a role and made Shine into a little side business for the 5 of them and started providing their jewellery to speciality boutiques, hair shops, spas, home decor shops & gift shops. They ran the business for 3 years and decided that they had other priorities to focus on and decided to sell the business.....

So as of April 2008, Marcia Duncan became the proud new owner of "Shine Wholesale Jewellery & Accessories" herself being in the retail industry for 8 years, it was a perfect fit! Marcia continued to provide to the existing shops they provided to and also added on some great shops herself and is looking forward to solely making Shine a unique, fashion jewellery wholesaler to all the local shops in the lower mainland and across the northern part of BC including the Okanagan area.

The SHINE Vision

  With all the tools and research that we have required in just the past few months, it has given us the opportunity to make Shine, literally SHINE....
The wonderful response we have recieved from our existing clients, we are now looking forward to providing more and more new clients with the unique, trendy, fashion jewellery we provide through our connections from all over the world. Each day we think of new ways to serve our retail clients better and better, we keep our service to the "small business" way of thinking, we keep it personal, anything we can do to make it easier for our client is our goal. We pride ourselves in paying attention to current trends for all the types of shops we provide for, we only order 3-6 items of each peice so that each shop gets a unique product to sell.
